Tiger Calcium’s roots date back to 1964, beginning as a small family-run transportation and warehousing business. Although our family roots are as strong as ever, Tiger Calcium has grown from that small company to one of the most successful producers and suppliers of calcium chloride in North America. Because we are one of the only companies that mines, manufactures, and applies our own products, we have been able to establish ourselves as an industry leader in the research and development of calcium chloride products, overseeing every area of production with the highest level of quality control.
The Keg River brine deposit near Slave Lake, Alberta provides the source of Tiger’s calcium chloride. This raw resource is processed by our nearby facility, resulting in over 1000 tonnes of liquid calcium chloride a day. We also develop advanced technologies for the application of calcium chloride, designing radar, metering and spray systems.
From the plant to the customer, a full distribution network moves our calcium chloride products across North America, supported by an organized system of rail and road transportation. Since we have access to a full highway fleet and rail cars, we can respond quickly to customer orders – regardless of how large. Combine this with our expanding geographic storage capacity and the result is fast delivery and great savings for our customer.
Throughout our years of customer service, we have earned a reputation for standing by our products and customers, building strong relationships founded on quality and respect.
